  • About Ginsato

    Shabu-shabu restaurant Ginsato, which opened in 2015 in Higashi Ginza, an area conveniently located near the Ginza station. What is unique about Ginsato is that female staffs clad in kimono prepare the dishes right in front of you, making sure that they are eaten fresh and flavourful. While they are cooked and served, you can relax and enjoy the conversation with your special guests. This is also a perfect place to entertain guests or to have dinner with your business partners. Seats at the counter and semi-private rooms with partition are also available for single diners and customers partying with friends.

    Satoko Moriyama

    Owner

    Moriyama is a native of Utsunomiya city in Tochigi prefecture. After working as an elementary school teacher, she successfully became a TV personality and appeared in various media. She subsequently went on to work for a major advertising firm before she was trained in a traditional Japanese restaurant. Moriyama opened Ginsato in 2015 in Ginza and now serves as an owner.

    Enjoy prix-fixe course using only the carefully chosen Omi beef and seasonal side dishes

    The beef used in our main menu including Shabu-shabu, Mushi-shabu (steamed Shabu-shabu) and Seiro-mushi are either A4 or A5 grade Omi beef. Enjoy our special home-made sesame sauce, ponzu citrus-based sauce and special broth that perfectly match the dishes.

    Shabu-shabu and Sukiyaki are cooked and served by the staff. Female staffs clad in kimono cook Shabu-shabu and Sukiyaki for you at the table, so that you can take advantage of its ingredients at its most flavourful moment. Please relax and enjoy your meal.

  • Charge System at Shabu-Shabu Ginsato

    For customers ordering set or course menus, cover charge for two and a half hour dinner time is included in the price. If you wish to extend your time, an additional cover charge of ¥5,000 per hour is necessary, which includes all-you-can-sing karaoke accompanied by a kimono-clad staff.
